Berkley’s boys soccer team earned a road shutout victory at South Lyon on Thursday, Oct. 8, rebounding from Tuesday’s 4-0 loss to Clarkston.
The Bears are scheduled to host Detroit Cristo Rey at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, according to Berkley’s official athletics calendar.
Berkley Athletics reported a 2-0 final score against South Lyon, while MaxPreps lists a 1-0 result. Both sources show a Berkley shutout victory.
The win followed a loss to Clarkston on Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Oakland Activities Association Red division play. As we reported Oct. 7, MaxPreps listed Berkley at 2-3 in conference play and fourth in the division after that game.
MaxPreps lists the South Lyon match as a nonleague contest, leaving the Bears’ conference record unchanged.
Berkley also defeated West Bloomfield 4-1 on Thursday, Oct. 1, according to MaxPreps.
The Bears are scheduled to host Groves at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, according to the school’s athletics calendar.
