Three Shrine Catholic Knights volleyball players earned Catholic High School League postseason recognition for the 2026 fall season.

The Royal Oak school's athletics department announced on X on Monday, Oct. 12, that Livvy Shapiro was named All-Catholic, Addy Kress earned All-League honors and Summer Smith received the All-Academic award. The CHSL's Women's Coaches Association selects the league's postseason honor teams, according to the CHSL website.

Shapiro's All-Catholic selection, Kress's All-League nod and Smith's All-Academic recognition span three different award categories within the league's postseason program.

The Knights had a reported record of 7-13 overall and 2-5 in league play as of Tuesday, Oct. 13, ranking sixth in MaxPreps’ Catholic–Intersectional standings, according to MaxPreps. Shrine posted a 5-5 record on the road and went 2-6 at home. The team's most recent result listed on the schedule was a 3-0 loss to St. Catherine of Siena Academy.

Head coach Ashley Harris and assistant coach Karlee Bair lead the program, according to the school and MaxPreps.

A Shrine Catholic Schools news release listed Summer Smith among the school's girls basketball All-Catholic honorees for the 2024-25 season.

The accessible CHSL volleyball honors page listed 2025 as its most recent year during this review. The three 2026 volleyball honorees are sourced from the school's athletics account on X.

Shrine still has matches left on its schedule. The Knights travel to Gabriel Richard in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m., then host Groves on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m. The last match currently listed on MaxPreps is a road match at Cranbrook Kingswood on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m.
